Astro has manufactured a durable hard wearing long lasting cricket pitch covers. Our installers have more than 10 years’ experience in manufacturing .
Astro has tested their covers against other manufacturers. On testing, our covers have a much higher tear resistance and durability. This is due to our research and testing, various grades of rubber, binder and manufacturing techniques to produce a higher quality product.
Construction and installation of covers :
- Two different grades of rubber;
- High quality polyurethane binder mixed at higher percentage than normal;
- Technique of rolling and finishing of cover;
- Each panel is coded and has a tear test inspection.
Astro Synthetic Surfaces is 100% West Australian owned and operated and majority of rubber products are made from Australian recycled materials. We can supply samples of the covers for viewing and tear testing.
